What is your favorite hobby? I spend the most free-time reading. I also enjoy emailing family &friends, embroidery, decorating, bargain shopping, and visiting friends & family.

What are you passionate about? I am passionate about people’s need for God in their life. I don’t know how people have hope or stay married without a relationship with God through Christ.

What is your favorite Bible verse? One of my favorites–that I lean on a lot–is Galations 6:9. “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”  I get tired; I feel selfish & lazy; but, God, with of Christ’s sacrificial love, and with the Spirit’s encouragement keep cheering me on to persevere. And, the future harvest of souls for Christ is exciting to think about!

Tell me about your best church memory. My best church memory is when I was in Junior High, and my Sunday school teacher Joy Bostrom really cared about me and my school accomplishments, even though I didn’t go to the same schools as the others in the class. As a young mother, I saw her in a restaurant one day, and I thanked her for caring for me.

Tell me about your family. I’m married to Jim–22 years already. We have 3 daughters, Leisha and Hollie are freshman in colleges, and Natalie is 13. My extended familiy is very spread out and I miss the closeness and support that more personal contact would permit.
