Where did you grow up? I grew up in Central Valley California. I didn?t leave there until after college when I went to China for a year. After that I moved to Dallas where I attended seminary at Dallas Theological Seminary. Then my wife and I moved to Hong Kong where we lived for nine years. We came to Minnesota in 2005. For 3 years I was Young Adults Pastor at Wayzata Evangelical Free Church.

What is your favorite hobby? I love running, reading and riding my bike.

What are you passionate about? I am passionate about studying the Bible. I love digging into the Scripture to find the deep truths of the Word. It is like a mystery or a gold mine. Great nuggets of Truth are waiting to be explored.

What is your favorite bible verse? Proverbs 3:5-6. Because I can Trust God for today and the future.

Tell me about your best church memory. It was so cool to plant a church in a non-Christian environment in Hong Kong. It was amazing to see how God brought the people together. It was thrilling to see how many people came into a personal relationship with Christ. Very cool!

Tell me about your family. Jennifer and I have 4 children. Charissa is 9, Rachel 7, Andrew 4, and LiliAnna 14 months. We are blessed with wonderful, but diverse, children.
