Your Amazing Ben! Just wanted to let you know I'm praying for you and the fam. I totally understand where your coming from though. As youth workers, we can't focus on the hypocrite kids. All we can do for them is pray and be there for them when they decide to be Christians. While it may sound cynical, we have to remember that these kids know the TRUTH. They've just made a series of conscious decisions to not do what the Bible says, and that's the saddest part of all.
As you get farther in church work, you'll see the same tendency in adults, and if we're being perfectly honest, we'll see it at times in ourselves. We know (and preach) the TRUTH, but we sometimes let the sin nature have sway, and do what we "want" to do, not what we should do.
So, I'm praying for you friend, See ya at Christmas.
